Privacy Policy

1. Who is responsible for your data

Nexterview is operated by Ulugbek Asadov, a sole proprietor registered in the Republic of Uzbekistan, who acts as the data controller for the processing described in this policy. Contact: support@nexterview.uz.

2. What we collect

• Email address — used for passwordless one-time sign-in codes and account identification.
• Purchase and balance records — order references and credit-balance history received from Paddle, our payment provider. We never see or store your card number or full payment details.
• Usage metering — session start/stop timestamps and durations, needed for per-second billing of your hour credits.
• Transient request content — when you use an AI feature, the audio-derived transcript, the screenshot (for Analyse Screen), and your resume text and company/role context are sent with that request to generate the answer. This content is processed per-request and never persisted on our servers.

3. What we do not collect

• Meeting notes are stored only locally on your device and are never transmitted to us.
• Raw audio is not stored; audio is transcribed to generate an answer and the buffer is discarded.
• Your resume file stays on your device; only its extracted text is sent with AI requests, and it is not stored server-side.
• This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking scripts.

4. How your data flows

AI requests travel from the desktop app to our backend (api.nexterview.uz) and on to OpenAI, which generates the transcription or answer. The OpenAI API key lives only on our server — the app never talks to OpenAI directly. OpenAI processes request content as a processor on our behalf to produce the response.

5. Processors and recipients

• Paddle.com — merchant of record; handles checkout, payment, tax, and receipts under its own privacy policy.
• OpenAI — AI model provider processing transcripts, screenshots, and context to generate responses.
• Cloud hosting providers — infrastructure on which our backend and database run.

6. Legal bases

We process your data to perform our contract with you (providing the Service and billing), for our legitimate interests (security, fraud and abuse prevention, service improvement), and to comply with legal obligations (tax and accounting records).

7. Retention

• Email address, credit balance, and purchase records: kept while your account exists, plus any period required by tax or accounting law.
• Metering records: kept for the billing-dispute window.
• Request content (transcripts, screenshots, resume text): not retained after the response is generated.

8. International transfers

Our servers and processors may be located outside your country — for example, OpenAI in the United States and Paddle in the United Kingdom and European Union. Where required, transfers rely on the processors’ safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

9. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to the processing of your personal data, and to data portability. To exercise any right — including deleting your account — email support@nexterview.uz. Account deletion removes your email and unused-credit records; if you have unused credits, see the Refund Policy before deleting.

10. Security

All traffic is encrypted in transit with TLS. API keys are held only on our servers, sign-in uses short-lived one-time codes, and we collect the minimum data needed to run the Service by design.

11. Children

The Service is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

12. Changes and contact
